Mis_Fortune BBQ Is Unleased on an Overly Critical Public

Our feature-length screenplay "Mis_Fortune BBQ" was submitted to several screenwriting competitions costing about $60 each. That's quite a business they got going there! Hopefully, you know, the good Lord willing, things will work out. The brilliant, 136-page comedy was also gracefully accepted by a couple VERY INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE who are probably in dread of reading it and procrastinating like crazy (can one procrastinate like crazy?!). We are praying BIG TIME that they like it. God only knows what these people are thinking. We'll keep you posted.

"Actors" massacre Mis_Fortune BBQ at Reading

Fourteen "actors" laid waste to one of the finest scripts this production company has ever spit out. The reading was held at St. Philips in San Francisco's Noe Valley. It was freezing cold - we remember that. The actors ate the donuts and drank the coffee and laughed at every little line. Actors!

Seriously: We are very appreciative for the time and generosity these talented people gave to us. It always helps to hear our writing aloud. On top of learning lots about the script, it was lots of fun. If any of you are reading this — THANKS! — you were all awesome and we hope to work with many of you in the future.
